Juvenile Crown-of-Thorns Starfish: A Threat to Coral Reefs

Coral reefs, often referred to as the “rainforests of the sea,” are incredibly diverse ecosystems that provide a habitat for numerous marine species. However, these vital ecosystems face many threats, one of which is the crown-of-thorns starfish (COTS).
